Open To Grace Christian Yoga Community All Levels Class Feb. 27th/21. Phil. 2: 6-8

In this all levels practice , we start in constructive rest pose mindfully becoming aware of the miraculous gift of the breath given to us in this moment and contemplate Christ’s magnificent work on our behalf and then again but in the context of Phil. 2: 6-8. Our opening sequence lying supine, we explore some gentle movement and warm up for the hips and low back. We transition to table top for some strengthening moves for the shoulders and core. In our standing practice we invite movement with breath coming in and out of chair pose and find length and stability of the spine in V forward fold and star pose. We move back to the mat for a generalized relaxation sequence, closing in prayer followed by a brief rest time.
