We start our practice with breath awareness and mindfulness of the presence of God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit in our midst and living within us. Our opening prayer includes asking for a deeper understanding of Christ’s magnificent work on our behalf in light of Phil. 2: 6-8. As we move into our physical practice of asana , we warm up the shoulders and invite some gentle massage of the trapezius and a sequence to traction the neck gently to create space and length. We become attuned to our core muscles through some exercises and strengthen this area with a dynamic twisting movement. In our standing practice we work from lunge pose to warrior 3 variation , stretching and strengthening the legs, feet and core , finding stability in movement and stillness. Have a blessed day!
