Open To Grace Christian Yoga Community All Levels Class Mar 13th/21. Scripture Rom. 3: 22-24

We start today’s practice with a heart opener. Use a rolled up blanket or a second yoga mat. After a reading of scripture and prayer we continue to spend some time in our pose to adore God as the teacher shares biblically based attributes of God. It is a time of drawing close to God’s heart before we invite movement and stillness to also be an offering. On the theme of opening the front body, we do some shoulder, upper back and neck stretches, working into warrior 1 and chair pose for strengthening the body. We make our way back to our mats seated, and invite windshield wiper like movement for the hips and low back, staff pose for core strengthening and dynamic side stretches to open the side bodies. We do a twist pose before moving to a lying down position and invite bridge pose. Finding our resting pose, a short prayer follows. We spend about 4 minutes resting and conclude with a final prayer!
