We start our practice with a mindfulness exercise , acknowledging that everything that is in this moment, God knows and God cares about. We pray for continuous cleansing and forgiveness and to have open and moldable hearts to hear from God and to know that we are the ones Jesus loves. You will need a yoga strap or alternative for this practice and a yoga block or substitute with a thick book. In our opening sequence we warm up gently with pelvic tilts and core awareness, use our straps for leg and hip stretches and do some core strengthening work. In our standing practice we invite some dynamic movement from mountain pose with heels lifted to forward fold, and then challenging ourselves with chair pose with heels lifted. Moving to a supine position we finish with some final stretches and a gentle neck release using our block.
